About Us
Homestead Designer Doodles is a small in home breeder located just 10 minutes from downtown Athens, Georgia. All of our dogs are genetically tested and approved through our Embark DNA partnership. Our puppies are born literally in our home where we are obsessed with giving them the very best care, socialization and love. We are dedicated to producing quality, healthy and family-friendly doodle puppies with a focus on temperament and structural soundness. After all, you aren’t just getting a pet; but a family member for life.
We know that the quality of each litter derives from the environment and family that surrounds each mama dog. And we love our mama dogs! We are situated on 26 acres with a beautiful creek, shoals, waterfalls and walking trails surrounding the homestead. The dogs and puppies get plenty of social interaction, tons of exercise and lots of time with our kiddos on the farm. We have our own personal mama dogs that live in our home (we are not a kennel) and also have a partnership of local guardian families that make up our breeding program. We are licensed through the state of Georgia and strive to operate and communicate with complete transparency. We focus on many things in our program, with health and temperament being of utmost importance to us. All of our puppies are raised with an enrichment socialization program known as Puppy Culture. We temperament test each one of our puppies once they turn 5 weeks old to ensure that every family gets matched with their ideal puppy. Our program ensures that each puppy that goes home has had the proper socialization and handling; as well as training measures to ensure success in not just potty training, but in continual training success.
